Dr Carver was a man of great stature and aptitude. He traveled the US operating on patients in small rural towns. Truth be told, the Dr of his name stood for Donald Ronald, his parents idea of a gag. He was born July first, nineteen hundred and thirty three. Both his parents died in a grotesque boating accident when he was seven years old. He then went to live with his aunt Marta in Wisconsin.
He had a relatively normal childhood. They lived in a quaint farmhouse on the outskirts of town. Donald was home schooled by Marta until her death in nineteen forty-nine. After her passing, Donald stayed at the farm, living off the livestock they kept there. He became socially incompetent and stayed to himself, performing experiments on the animals with a medical kit he stole from the doctor in town. Most of the town left him to his own devices, fearing that he had become a madman.
By age twenty Donald grew tired of operating on animals and set out to start his practice. So sure that he was a doctor, he shortened his name to Dr and traveled south. He stuck to small farm towns like the one he grew up on. Always crafty, he would find a poor family with a sick child or elderly family member to do his experiments on. He would operate free of charge, of course. After his patient had died, he would pack up his belongings and move on to the next town.
In the nineteen sixties, Dr traveled to Alabama. He set up camp in a diminutive inn on the outskirts of town. A widow ran the inn, The Devil’s Backbone. Dr found great solace in this place and in Amelia, the widow’s daughter.  They had a quiet affair and Dr found work on a local farm. He’d just as soon forgot about his experiments when Amelia told him they couldn’t go on. She was set to marry a wealthy landowner, William DeBow, a not so distant relative of her father’s.
Dr became inaudibly enraged. He told Amelia that he was leaving town, and not to come looking for him. She agreed that it would be for the best. He started staying in the abandoned servant’s quarters on DeBow’s plantation.
The night before William was to wed Amelia, Dr pulled out his medical kit one last time. He snuck up to William’s room to find him sitting in the library, with an antique pistol pointed in Dr’s direction. A scuffle ensued, with William smashing the pistol against Dr’s temple. Dr lost consciousness, and awoke in the basement of the house, with William looking through his medical bag. Dr leapt from his position on the floor and onto William’s back, pulling the scalpel he held against his neck. William spun around and threw Dr against the brick wall. Dr looked up to see the pistol pointed right between his eyes, as William pulled the trigger. William then bandaged himself up but it was too late, the cut on his neck was too deep and he fainted from blood loss.
The next morning, Amelia found the two men dead in the basement, Dr’s blood staining her immaculate white wedding dress.
will be moved to scraps.

I like it...I of course love the concept and I just find peace in this for some reason.
